Green for the planet
Sustainability at SC Printing International

As a socially and environmentally responsible company, we take every measure to reduce our carbon footprint including recycling waste products, sourcing from sustainably managed forests and investing in carbon-neutral equipment. We adopted and gradually developed a sustainability framework in our operations allowing us to meet the international standards by identifying, managing, and controlling social, economic and environmental impact.

We make every effort to be as environmentally friendly as possible, and this is reflected in our business.

Carbon Neutral Press

We are committed to reducing our carbon footprint by implementing and adapting to carbon-neutral machinery. By investing in the right equipment, we can also achieve our sustainability goals. The reforestation projects in Togo, West Africa helped to offset the carbon emissions that were created during the manufacturing process of the Heidelberg 6 colour printing press.

Reforestation Projects

In order to offset the carbon emission that occurs during our printing process, we are conducting continuous tree planting and reforestation projects. Our main site is a 30-acre land where our team maintains a rubber plantation. In addition, we support various reforestation projects in Sri Lanka every year.

We Are FSC Certified

We are certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) for all three output categories: FSC 100%, FSC recycled and FSC mixed.

We purchase our paper and boards from FSC-certified producers who source from responsibly managed forests that provide environmental, social and economic benefits.

FSC’s goal is to dissuade all activities that contribute to deforestation and biodiversity loss and to improve the quality of life of those who benefit from the ecosystem.
